Once Law enforcement solves the case based on tip information
Crimestoppers will place the reward money at a certain location. The tipster
will pick up their cash without showing ID.
When a tip leads to an arrest, YOU are eligible to receive a reward up to $2500.
(Reward amount based upon Crime Stoppers Board of Director's Reviews.)
The tipster will call 912-234-2020 to find out how to pick up their reward.
Qualifications for Receiving a Reward:
A tipster is entitled to one reward per reported criminal activity. If more than one person furnished information about the same crime or fugitive, the reward may be divided as the CrimeStoppers' Board of Directors may determine, based upon the relative importance of the tipster's information.
Persons ineligible for a reward include the accused or co-accused of the crime, the victim of the crime or identified law enforcement tipsters funneled into the program. Sworn peace officers, law enforcement employees, CRIMESTOPPERS staff, volunteers and Board members are not eligible for rewards.
Reward payments not claimed by tipsters within 90 days shall be returned to the Reward Fund. Tipsters must re-contact CrimeStoppers to collect a reward beyond 90 days of the Board of Directors approval.
