Community Engagements 2007:
Boston Butt 2007
CrimeStoppers 2007 Boston Butt Fund-raiser was the most successful ever due you the community's participation. CrimeStoppers was able to sell over 400 Boston Butts and the proceeds went to the CrimeStoppers Reward fund. We would like the thank the following to their help and support: the community, Mac and Brenda Salter of the York Street Deli, Sam's Club, and the Volunteers in Policing.
Community Engagements 2006:
National Night Out 2006
The CrimeStoppers booth was the happening place at the National Nigh Out 2006 event. CrimeStoppers staff held contests quizzing people about their knowledge of CrimeStoppers and Project Ceasefire. Even Don Scott of 1-95 and April Dobbs of E93 radio stopped by to give out some prizes and hang out with the CrimeStoppers crew. More than 200 t-shirts and prizes were given out. Study the "About Us" pages for CrimeStoppers and Project Ceasefire then stop by our booth at National Night Out in August 2007 to get your CrimeStoppers T-shirt.

Community Works Training
CrimeStoppers partnered with the National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC) to train Chatham County middle school counselors and school resource officers in the Community Works curriculum. The Community Works curriculum teaches students about conflict resolution, how to protect themselves from being victims of crimes, and substance abuse among many other topics.
The Race Against Crime 2005
The 2005 Race Against Crime at the Savannah Mall was a successful fund raiser as well as a good time for all who attended. Youth and adults alike enjoyed the nice fall day as they ran or walked the 5k course. Stay tuned for details as CrimeStoppers presents the 2007 Azalea 10k and 5k Run and Fun Walk.
