Nearly 40 Years of Commitment to Chatham County

Since 1983, Crime Stoppers of Savannah-Chatham County has partnered with citizens, law enforcement agencies and media organizations to stop and solve crime in our community through running the area’s only 24/7, anonymous tip line. The tip line serves all of Chatham County’s eight municipalities and unincorporated Chatham County, which include:

Savannah

Tybee Island

Pooler

Garden City

Bloomingdale

Port Wentworth

Thunderbolt

Vernonburg

In addition to our own territory, we also partner with the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System, neighboring counties such as Effingham County and Bryan County, and other county, state and federal agencies to combat crime.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we run solely on the generosity of others, grants and funding from the municipalities that we serve. We employ two, full-time team members who run the day-to-day operations of the organization and who work under the management of a board of directors of unpaid, volunteers.
